The Creators favored race flourished in the Realms.
But in the dark of the void the child sent his whispering minions seeking what he could exploit but found no gaps to take root inside...
The queens continued to create wondrous beasts and animals for the elves to enjoy and watch over but as time grew on the shadow began to make darker beasts..
With in the ground she made creachers to toil in darkness. made them like the perfect elves but short and stronger.. and from the earth was born the Dwarven workers of the deep.
